Introduction and Orientation

30 Quotes from the Quran

>>> DAY 1, QUOTE 1 <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/CBK1oWnSGnE

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

https://youtu.be/oK42g8dN3kA

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- What are the things or beings that people worship other than Allah?

- Is it right to worship anything other than Allah? Why not?

- How can I make sure that we worship Allah SWT alone?

Food For Thought:

Tawheed (worshipping one God alone without any partner) is the core of our religion, Islam.

To become a Muslim we need to say -

La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad ar-Rasool Allah.

There is no god worthy of worship but Allah SWT, and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His messenger.

>>> DAY 2, QUOTE 2  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/yDTFLVz1Ju0

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

https://youtu.be/WkNT0PswJoQ

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

Do I need Allah’s help?

When do I need Allah’s help?

Can anyone help me other than Allah SWT?

Food For Thought:

If you ask, then ask Allah [alone]; and if you seek help, then seek help from Allah [alone]. And know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, they would not benefit you except with what Allah had already prescribed for you. And if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would not harm you except with what Allah had already prescribed against you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.

>>> DAY 3, QUOTE 3  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/AVO4s61i0WQ

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

https://youtu.be/Cuaycknex5Q

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Who was Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

- What do you mean by a Prophet of God?

- What is the right way to love and honor our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

Food For Thought:

Prophets and messengers were all human beings. But they had super high moral, spiritual, and intellectual qualities. They were honest and trustworthy and Allah SWT chose them to deliver His guidance to the people. We owe our thanks and gratitude to our beloved Prophet for so many sacrifices and hard work to make sure that we get the message of Islam completely and correctly.

Question and Answers:

Regarding the question that was asked about concentration in salah (namaz), here is a hadith that was referred to:

Uthman b. Abu al-'As reported that he came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said:

Allah's Messenger, the Satan intervenes between me and my prayer and my reciting of the Qur'an and he confounds me. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:, That is (the doing of a) Satan (devil) who is known as Khinzab, and when you perceive its effect, seek refuge with Allah from it and spit three times to your left. I did that and Allah dispelled that from me.

Sahih Muslim 2203a

More can be read about it at this link in sha Allah: https://lifewithallah.com/articles/taste-the-sweetness-of-salah/11-fight-shaytan-and-his-whispers/

>>> DAY 4, QUOTE 4  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/_x9YArR1Ve0

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

https://youtu.be/tNDOuNgeABE

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- What are some of the books have you read in your life?

- Is there anything in these books that might not be correct?

- How is the Quran unique? Is there any other book in the world like the Quran?

Food For Thought:

Do you know that Quran itself presents some challenges

- Find out any contradiction or a mistake in it if you can!

- Produce something like it if you can!

- No matter what time and age you belong to, no matter how intelligent you are, Quran will teach you things that you did not know before!

> >> DAY 5, QUOTE 5  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/DKaH0Tz_8KI

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

https://youtu.be/Y1pATUMc0GI

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Have you ever surprised yourself with your capabilities. What did you discover about yourself?

- Allah SWT does not burden us beyond our capacity. How does that demonstrate His kindness, compassion and generosity towards His creation?

Food For Thought:

Do you know that at another place in the Quran (65:7), Allah SWT says,

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا مَا آتَاهَا ۚ

Allah does not charge a soul except [according to] what He has given it.

When we look at these two phrases together, we can understand that for every situation that we face in this life, either Allah SWT has already given us the ability to deal with it, or He will bless us with resources to handle it.

>>> DAY 6, QUOTE 6  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/V02wDHVESyY?si=84IyhH3yGj3SG_U8

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

https://youtu.be/qELQSm_duWA

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

Rights of Allah SWT include:

- Tawheed

- Ibadah

- Gratitude towards Him

- Have fear and hope in Him

- Loving Him

What are the different ways you can strive to give Allah SWT His Haqq in all these areas?

Food For Thought:

The right of Allah over His slaves is that they should worship Him and not associate anything with Him. And the right of the slaves over Allah, if they do that, is that He should not punish them.

>>> DAY 7, QUOTE 7  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/OQl8HG0Hhas?si=gm9TVjpOY_YexaUq

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/9Vu6B6auvPs

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- The taste of food is different depending on the ingredients that we put in and how we cook it. Death has a taste as well. What would a good tasting death look and feel like? What would a bad tasting death look and feel like?

- Imagine your funeral. Who will be at your janazah prayer? What would they say about you?

- What can you do now onwards to ensure that you live with the values that will make your death and afterlife pleasing?

Food For Thought:

It will be said to the people of Paradise, 'O people of Paradise! Eternity (for you) and no death,' and to the people of the Fire, 'O people of the Fire, eternity (for you) and no death!

>>> DAY 8, QUOTE 8  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/nvfNJ1c9m74

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/oHIVJCMSrNg

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- How often do you think of Allah? Is He the first One you want to thank when you are happy? Is He the first One you want to complain to when you are not?

In what ways can you remember Allah SWT?

- We feel great when someone important or famous knows us or remembers us. How does it make you feel when Allah SWT says that He, the Owner of the Skies and the earth, remembers you?

Food For Thought:

Dhikr, plural Adhkar, means remembrance, reminder or mention of God. It is a form of Islamic worship in which phrases or prayers are repeatedly recited for the purpose of remembering God. Several adhkaar have been taught to us which include words that are beloved to Allah SWT and carry a great reward for the person reciting them. These include morning and evening adhkaar and other phrases. Dhikr is uttered through the mouth (Dhikr-e-lisani) and in the heart (Dhikr-e-Qalbi).

The best way to celebrate the remembrance of Allah is to say: La ilaha illa Allah (there is no true god except Allah).

Reciting or learning the Quran, praying salah (namaz), and remembering Allah in our heart at all times - both happy and sad, when feeling successful or at loss - are also forms of Dhikr.

>>> DAY 9, QUOTE 9  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/eiOfZUIM2lc

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

https://youtu.be/MI2ROABjIZQ

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- How does it feel when someone thanks you for something nice that you have done?

- How often do you thank others when they do something nice for you?

- If we were to count the blessings of Allah SWT upon us, then we can never do it. Spend at least a minute a day mindfully and consistently thinking about the blessings of Allah SWT upon you and thanking Him for them.

Food For Thought:

Whoever is not grateful to the people, he is not grateful to Allah SWT.

Dua to say after every prayer:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّيْ عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

Allahumma ainni alaa dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ibaadatik

O Allah help me in remembering You, in thanking You, and to worship You in the most excellent manner

>>> DAY 10, QUOTE 10  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/c76zwcj-pu4

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

https://youtu.be/ofonMUnuqwU

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Find out about the Marshmallow test done at Stanford University and its results. Does it teach you anything about Sabr?

- Today, when an impulse arises, take a deliberate pause and ask yourself: “Is this in line with my deeper values?” Then act accordingly. This will help make your sabr strong.

- Anyone can be patient after some time passes, but true sabr is at the first blow of the problem.

- Think of any incident in the life of a prophet of Allah SWT. How did they demonstrate patience and how can you apply their lessons to your own life?

- There is no day, week, month or year when our emotions are not tested. How do you incorporate sabr into your daily routine? What are some strategies that help you remain patient in difficult situations?

Food For Thought:

Sabr is of two types:

- patience in obeying Allah's command while keeping away from the prohibited acts, and

- patience in accepting Allah's fate.

The month of patience (Ramadan) and three days of each month is fasting for a lifetime.

>>> DAY 11, QUOTE 1 <<<1

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/AsLjXAQa-Q0

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/npEFBa-_ZlQ

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Can you list the hardships that a mother faces in giving birth and raising a child?

- From the hardships of getting teeth to earning livelihood, teenage, growing old, death, grave, resurrection and accountability of deeds - If man had any part in his own creation, would he ever have made such hardships for himself?

- Absolute comfort, without hardship, is not possible in this world. What are the things that we can do to prepare ourselves to endure the hardships in a way that helps us for an eternal life of absolute comfort?

Food For Thought:

Ask Allah SWT for Aafiyah (meaning overall well-being).

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ

O Allah, indeed I ask You for aafiyah.

To be saved from any afflictions, you are in Aafiyah.

To be healthy, you are in Aafiyah.

To have enough money, you are in Aafiyah.

To live, you are in Aafiyah.

To have your children protected, you are in Aafiyah.

And if you are forgiven and not punished, you are in Aafiyah.

>>> DAY 12, QUOTE 12  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/qXFVYytnaJo

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/tNnS6_PLAi4

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- What gives you hope and what drains you out?

- Find out more about Allah SWT’s attributes, such as Ar-Rahman (The Merciful) and Al-Wadud (The Loving), to cultivate hope and reassurance.

- What do you want Allah SWT to forgive you for? Have you asked Him for it this Ramadan?

Food For Thought:

Whoever stands (in the voluntary night prayer of) Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. And whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.

>>> DAY 13, QUOTE 13  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/AbTqiBM1sSo

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/lxWgIig3Hso

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Reflect on any of your recent accomplishments or something you want to achieve soon, no matter how big or small.

- How did Allah SWT help you/ What help are you seeking from Allah SWT?

- What efforts did you make/ you are going to make?

- How is this beneficial for your dunya as well as Akhirah?

Food For Thought:

When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: Continuing charity, knowledge that others benefited from, and a righteous son who supplicates for him. These three things are, in reality, a result of one’s own deeds, efforts and actions.

>>> DAY 14, QUOTE 14  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/YJqMJHcB0yQ

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/q69UBNXqbZI

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- It is easy to criticize yourself but there are so many blessings in your body, mind, heart and soul. For example, How has your body been serving you throughout your life? Think of your eyes in the right place, ears, hands, upright body, brain, intelligence, etc.

- Out of all creation, He chose you to be a human being. Out of all human beings, He chose you to be a believer. Out of all believers, He chose you to be a part of the best ummah, the ummah of Muhammad SAW. Do you realize how special you are?

- Your mind, body, heart and soul are an amanah (trust) from Allah SWT. What unique quality has Allah SWT given you and how are you using it?

Food For Thought:

There are 360 joints and each of them owes sadaqa every single day. Every good word is sadaqa. A man's helping his brother is sadaqa. A drink of water which he gives is sadaqa. Removing something harmful from the road is sadaqa.

Being a Muslim doesn't mean that we play down the importance of worldly success. Rather it means that we strive for the best of both deen and dunya, dunya and Akhirah, in a way that we strive to please Allah SWT and avoid anything that displeases Him. For example, we do work hard for our grades and careers and relationships and finances and health and knowledge and reputation etc., but we are never defined by the successes in our careers or the lack of it thereof. Our honor always comes from Allah SWT and He is the Owner of all honor!

>>> DAY 15, QUOTE 15  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/AkVVYuzf3H0

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/KXXft5AyKLk

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Can you think of someone who has excellent communication skills? What about them do you admire?

- How can you improve your active listening skills?

- What kind of words that you speak which might be pleasing to Allah SWT? Say them more.

- What kind of words that you speak which might not be pleasing to Allah SWT? Try to stop saying them.

Food For Thought:

Allah created man with the ability to communicate.

“He has taught him to talk (and understand)” (Quran 55:4).

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) used both written and oral communication as per the need and requirement. He had scribes who would write for him and he sent official letters to different leaders of the world.

>>> DAY 16, QUOTE 16  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/3xPMZB_iOu4

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/b8BfhC5ozsA

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

There are five languages of love.

- Words of Affirmation

- Acts of Service

- Giving Gifts

- Quality Time

- Physical Touch

How can you express your love and respect to your parents a little bit more in each of these areas?

Food For Thought:

The pleasure of the Lord lies in the pleasure of the parent. The anger of the Lord lies in the anger of the parent.

>>> DAY 17, QUOTE 17  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/frnEGXSrW2k

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/mxk0gVexQCk

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- In what ways are men and women equal in Islam?

- In what ways are men and women not alike? What are their unique strengths?

- Can you notice the other things that Allah SWT created in pairs and how they work together - for example day and night, and sun and moon.

Food For Thought:

The Prophet SAW cursed men who imitate women, and women who imitate men.

>>> DAY 18, QUOTE 18  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/q4J6NYiwDH8

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/EFxIVCgOmsU

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- In our deen, both men and women are spiritually equal. Whoever does good, will get their reward, whether male or female. But gender roles are slightly different based on their unique physical and emotional capabilities so that each can excel in their own sphere and be a team together.

- What are the primary responsibilities of a man in a Muslim household?

- What are the primary responsibilities of a woman in a Muslim household?

- How does Islam encourage us to shift from a “Me” mentality to a “We” mindset?

Food For Thought:

Our deen teaches us to shun gender extremism. Rather, men and women are counterparts of each other and allies in faith and family.

>>> DAY 19, QUOTE 19  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/jgRnUOPI5pY

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/oJE4z_seCws

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- When you are travelling somewhere how important is it to have the right directions? What are the benefits of having a guide in your journey, or a GPS, an app of Maps and routes, etc.?

- How have you felt happiness, love, excitement, honour and confidence in being a Muslim?

- How did you learn the most important lesson in your life?

Food For Thought:

The best talk is Allah's Book (Quran), and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad SAW (Islam).

Did you know that when our mother Ayesha RA was asked how the Prophet SAW’s character was. she replied - it was like the Quran!

>>> DAY 20, QUOTE 20  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/V2rIvcJ5xXw

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/WsMcbvPuDmM

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Has there been a time that was extremely difficult then, but now you are grateful for it?

- How has Allah SWT used tragedies to benefit and teach you?

- How do you understand the process of growth?

Food For Thought:

Along with difficulty for the believer in this world, there is an ease in this world and an ease in the hereafter. One hardship cannot overcome two eases! This means that hardship cannot overcome both times of ease that are promised to the believers. It can only overcome one of them. The ease of the next world is permanent and without end.

>>> DAY 21, QUOTE 21  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/Los7dnJTtFk

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/dwXhsN9KC1I

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Is shaytaan real? Who is he? What is his ultimate goal?

- Why is shaytaan so bothered about me and you?

- What are some of the tricks and traps of shaytaan? How can you protect yourself from them?

Food For Thought:

Shaytan has snares and traps. The snares and traps of Shaytan are to exult ungratefully in the blessings of Allah, to boast about the gifts of Allah, to have pride at the expense of the slaves of Allah, and to follow passion for other than the sake of Allah.

>>> DAY 22, QUOTE 22  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/gwErGo2o32U

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/_YiAcvAOgw8

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Talbina gives rest to heart and removes some of the grief. What are your favourite foods that make you feel good?

- When have you felt sad and which of Allah’s words lifted you up?

- What steps can you take to heal and move forward from sadness? How can your faith guide you in this process?

Food For Thought:

The word (huzn) "sadness" does not appear in the Quran except in the form of forbidding it or in the form of negating it. And the reason for this is because there is no benefit for having sadness in the heart. There’s nothing more beloved to shaytaan than a depressed believer.

>>> DAY 23, QUOTE 23  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/aXeP4YDjDuA

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

- Dua (Supplication): What prayers are deeply meaningful to me right now? How can I improve my communication with Allah through dua?

- Learning: What have I learned recently about Allah or Islam that has enriched my understanding? How can I apply this knowledge to grow in faith?

- Trust in Allah (Tawakkul): How do I handle situations that are beyond my control? Do I wholeheartedly trust in Allah's plan for me?

- Forgiveness: How do I seek forgiveness from Allah, and how can I be more consistent in returning to Him in repentance?

Food For Thought:

Make this dua often. Memorize it if you can in sha Allah.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ

وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ

وَحُبَّ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُ إِلَى حُبِّكَ

O Allah! Certainly I ask You for Your love, the love of whomever You love, and the love of the deeds that bring one nearer to Your love.

Reference: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3235

>>> DAY 24, QUOTE 24  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/BnpAWvAs9-8

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/AAXQHmRKJTY

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- On most days, do you fit your salah around your life or do you fit your life around your salah?

- Do you regret anytime that you have missed your prayer?

- Do you regret anytime that you prayed on time and put everything else aside for a few minutes?

- Do you rush to pray your salah the way sports fans show up to a game? Why? Why not?

- What challenges do you face in maintaining your prayer schedule, and how can you overcome them?

- How do you find and create a conducive environment for your prayers that will enhance my focus and mindfulness?

- How do you feel before, during, and after performing salah?

- How does performing salah connect you to your Muslim community and fellow worshippers?

- What lessons from salah can you apply to other areas of your life?

Food For Thought:

Narrated `Abdullah:

I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) "Which deed is the dearest to Allah?" He replied, "To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times."...

Sahih al-Bukhari 527

Taking regular breaks during the day to pray are also super important for us to function. It is like taking a pit stop in Formula 1 race, taking breaks on a mountain climb, having regular check-ins with your boss at work or plugging your phone to charge its batteries.

>>> DAY 25, QUOTE 25  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/EpDRsKQXzj8

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/aJLLYhJKLyI

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Was there a time when you felt abandoned or alone? How did your faith comfort and reassure you?

- Even in times of difficulty, what are you grateful for? How can focusing on gratitude help you cope with hardships?

- What is one topic in Islam that you have always wanted to learn more?

Food For Thought:

Surah Duha was revealed to the Prophet SAW during a time of great difficulty and uncertainty. It is a beautiful message of reassurance and hope for all believers that Allah is always with us, guiding us even in moments of uncertainty and search for meaning, and that His care and compassion never waver. Allah's guidance is a source of comfort and direction.

>>> DAY 26, QUOTE 26  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/hkpnmuy4AiM

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/vjEFtUfa2hc

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Allah SWT told us that He is closer to us than our jugular vein. Find out where the jugular vein is in our body and its importance.

- Knowing that Allah SWT is always with us, no matter where we are influences your daily actions and decisions. How can you strive to be more mindful and sincere in your deeds?

- What are some things that you want to say to Allah SWT when you meet Him?

Food For Thought:

Allah SWT says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.

>>> DAY 27, QUOTE 27  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/9ZPUTNoNY8s

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/4xc1BbOftJw

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- Who is the richest person in the world? What does he own?

- Think about what all things are there on the earth. Now think about what all things are there in the skies (sky above us and outer space). Imagine all of this, including me and you, we belong to Allah SWT.

- Everything and everyone around you is owned by Allah SWT. How can this awareness guide you to be more responsible towards the people, resources and blessings that you have?

Food For Thought:

When we are sad or missing something or someone, or when someone passes away, we say and remind ourselves:

 إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we are going to return.

Our lives and everything we have are from Allah and they are temporary. It gives us peace to know that Allah is in control and reminds us that ultimately we will return to Him and be held accountable for our actions. This encourages believers to live righteously and prepare for the Hereafter.

>>> DAY 28, QUOTE 28  <<<

Recitation (Listen and Memorize):

https://youtu.be/7CBoDtX-MKo

Explanation (Meaning, Significance, Action Points):

 https://youtu.be/EPq8PfQo_V4

Reflection/ Discussion Questions:

- What are some of the big things that Allah SWT has protected you from?

- Think about a moment when you felt alone or overwhelmed. How did you seek Allah's support, and how did it make you feel?

- What are some areas in your life where you are struggling to let go and trust Allah’s plan? How can you surrender them to Allah, trusting that He knows best? What steps can you take to work on building your trust in Him?

Food For Thought:

"Hasbuna Allah" means "Allah is sufficient for us." It expresses the believer's confidence that Allah alone is enough to handle their needs, protect them, and provide for them, no matter what the situation. "Wa ni'mal wakeel" means "and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs." It acknowledges Allah as the best one to entrust all matters to, as He has the ultimate and infinite wisdom and power.

A beautiful dua of reliance on Allah SWT, that is also recommended to say 7 times every morning and evening, from Surah At-Tawba 9:129

Sufficient for me is Allah ; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.

- How can you incorporate more acts of remembrance into your daily routine? How can this practice help you find greater peace and assurance in your heart?

- Consider how your faith has provided you with comfort and reassurance in challenging times. How can you continue to strengthen your faith and trust in Allah?

Food For Thought:

Engaging in the remembrance of Allah through prayer, recitation of the Quran, or other acts of worship, brings true peace, comfort, reassurance and contentment to the heart. This is a powerful reminder that material possessions or worldly achievements or associations can never provide the same level of inner peace.

- Are there people you have not thanked though they have been blessings, or a means of blessings for you?

Food For Thought:

لَا بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ نِعَمِكَ رَبَّنَا نُكَذِّبُ فَلَكَ الْحَمْد

Our Lord, we do not deny any of Your favors. All praise and thanks belong to You.
