Looking forward to seeing your child. They will love it in sha Allah.
Allah ﷻ mentions "glad tidings" several times in the Quran. This term reminds us of the bounties of Allah ﷻ that we are enjoying today and the bounties that we will enjoy in paradise by the will of God.
Inspired by this, Ayesha Haroon has named her social service initiative – Glad Tidings.
Glad Tidings is a Social Service Organization by Canadian Certified Counsellor, Islamic Family Coach and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) - Ayesha Haroon. Our kids and youth clubs offer character building workshops, camps, trips and events where members come together to love, learn and practice Islam, and form friendships that make it easy for them to do so. Families get access to professional high quality self development, relationship building, and emaan-boosting courses and resources. The purpose of Glad Tidings is to inspire, teach and motivate Muslim children and families to look up to positive role models in Islamic history and strive to become successful and pious like them. In short, we learn it, love it and then live it.
"Knowledge is but a light which Allah places in the heart."
- Imam Malik
We organize several workshops, camps and classes from time to time. Spaces are limited and offered on a first come first serve basis. The purpose of Glad Tidings is to inspire, teach and motivate Muslim children and families to look up to positive role models in Islamic history and strive to become successful and pious like them, all in an engaging and fun environment.
Learn new skills for life for girls and boys. From crochet to communication skills, from anger management to cleaning, we offer different life skills training sessions from time to time. Join us for the current session or wait for the new session to learn the skill of your choice.
Here you will find the Glad Tidings Publications, merchandise, and other resources like videos and e-books. These media have helpful tips from the world of psychology and spirituality. More media will be updated at regular intervals. If there is any subject that you would like for me to cover in future, then I would love to hear from you.
Family is the backbone of every society. This is where the older generation is taken care of, the adults act as positive role models and younger generations are raised.
However, at times challenges of life and society lead us off the path. If you are in such challenges, don't despair, help is at hand! Our family coaching services aim to help you connect and communicate with yourself and your family in a way that is easy and fun, less time consuming, less stressful, and the most rewarding for your life and spiritual beliefs.
Organizing occasional hangouts, meetings, potlucks, events, trips and programs, our Youth Club is a happy place to be.
Learning activities through the week will include topics related to the Quran, Fasting, Taraweeh, Itikaaf, Friendships, and Handling Emotions.
Spots are Limited and available on first come first serve basis.
Get your kids off their screens on their day off!
